Venta x Traslado y noticias de la III ALMONEDA

Avisarte que tenemos un apartamento que vaciar en el Puerto de la Cruz.  La venta será el próximo Sábado 28 de 11 a 14h y Domingo  29 de 11 a 14h.
 La direccion es:

Calle La Hoya Nº 47- 2º derecha , Puerto de la Cruz

Quizas te suene ya que es en el mismo edificio que el anterior, pero una planta más arriba.

Esta calle  de la Hoya es peatonal con lo cual sugiero que utilicen el aparcamiento del Centro Comercial Las Piramides de Martianez que esta cerca. http://g.co/maps/pzzcw

Se trata de vender muebles antiguos mayoritariamente. Hay una sofá, sillas y sillones de pata de garra, mesa consola, Comoda/tocador, otra cómoda que es tambien escritorio, marcos y cuadros, libros,una caja de cedro de un tamaño estupendo ni grande ni pequeño, detalles de vitrina, alguna porcelana, cristal, metales, una mesa redonda extensible de comedor contemporaneo con sillas (las sillas a reparar), un aparador/vitrina también contemporaneo, espejo pequeño antiguo y de pared, lamparas de techo, camas antiguas individuales de hierro etc...

 Tambien a la venta esta el reloj de cucú mas grande que yo jamas haya visto - necesita restauración y se parece a esta. Imagen de google.

El apartamento tambien esta a la venta actualmente y consta de vestibulo, cocina y solana, salon/comedor con balcon y vistas al mar y la zona de la Plaza de los Reyes Católicos. Tiene dos amplias habitaciones y dos cuartos de baño. Este apartamento es a reformar. Si sabes de alguien que pudiera estar interesd@ por favor corre la voz.

Como novedad en esta III ALMONEDA y con el propósito de recaudar fondos para ATEM, la Asociación Tinerfeña de Esclerosis Múltiple  vamos a tener un cóctel benéfico el Jueves dia 3 de Mayo a las 19.30h. Las entradas son a 25 euros y recomendamos comprarlos de antemano ya que son limitadas. Puedes hacerlo contactando con Carmen Jiménez: La Restauradora de La Laguna en 615 158 082, con ATEM que tiene su sede en Santa Cruz Tel 922 20 16 99 ó conmigo - mis datos los tienes más abajo.

 Además de disfrutar del coctél que será servido por el grupo Jesus Rodrigues podrás visitar y comprar en la feria previa apertura al público, habrá música en vivo del Cuarteto Piazolla y habrá sorteo presencial con premios de: un fin de semana en un Hotel en el Sur de la isla y un fin de semana en una Casa Rural en Tacoronte. El Colectivo de Almonedas de Tenerife esperamos que guste la idea y podamos contar con tu apoyo y presencia en este evento.

Colectivo Almonedas de Tenerife

The  Colectivo (1) Almonedas (2) de Tenerife group is made up of people of different nationalities with a connection to  the world of antiques: brocantes, antique dealers, collectors and restorers of furniture and works of art  that have come together to create events and activities such as exhibitions and fairs, in order to promote the love for all things antique, vintage and collectable as well as the restoration of furniture and works of art. 

The idea of forming a group had been germinating for some time, but it was not until the organization and development of the first Almoneda-Antique, Vintage and Collectors Fair that took place in January 2011 in the city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife that we actually all got together. 

Previously some members  had participated in Antique fairs organized by the AECC  Asociación Española contra el Cancer – Spanish Anti-Cancer Society. It was at these fairs that we realized the need for these sort of events in Tenerife and the islands in general as we saw the great interest and expectation they generated.

(1)   A Colectivo is a group of people who share or are motivated by one same theme or interest or who work together towards one same objective. The purpose of a "colectivo" is not only economic benefit but social and cultural ones.

(2)   An ALMONEDA is a place where  diverse articles of more than 30 years of age are bought and sold, where you can find anything from furniture, to antiques of 100 years or more to everyday items like household goods and chattels, tools, lamps, paintings, prints, books, clothes etc.. The term “almonedista “ therefore covers a wider spectrum than that of an antique dealer.

To fill this gap  the Colectivo Almonedas de Tenerife was formed and coordination is carried out by Sophie Baillon  of Rastrillo Portobello and Carmen M. Jimenez Alvarez –La Restauradora de La Laguna ,who select, organize and develop the various activities that the group participates in.

Objectives Our objective is not in principal commercial but to promote and develop knowledge and activities in relation to antiques, collections, and restorations and to generally spread the love for things from the past benefitting those around.



 Cultural objectives   To foster interest and activities where we share and promote the  knowledge of our cultural and historic heritage. In order to meet these objectives we work alongside public and private institutions , such as the Cultural City Council  of San Cristóbal de La Laguna  where with an Exhibition titled “La Revolución de la Costura- una puntada en el tiempo” “The Sewing Revolution – a stitch in time”, in March 2011 we displayed the history of  the sewing machine with exhibits belonging to members  of the Colectivo and private collectors.

In May 2011 we organized the II Almoneda together with the Cultural City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Sala de Arte La Recova and in January 2012 we cooperated with the Casa Viña Norte in San Cristóbal de La Laguna organising an exhibition there.

We also aim to promote Tenerife as a cultural destination , and are considering the possibility of  taking part in fairs on the mainland, such as la Almoneda of Ifema in Madrid .Antique, Art Galleries and Collectors Fair. http://www.ifema.es/ferias/almoneda/default.html

Social aims Collaboration also involves local charities, helping to  promote their campaigns and help them raise funds via our events.  We have worked alongside the AECC (Asociacion Española contra el Cancer), the Rotary Club Santa Cruz, of Santa Cruz de Tenerife with their campaign to eradicate polio in the world and at our next fair with the Tenerife Asociation of Multiple Sclerosis and AMBAR ,a multidiscipline Asociation for the defense of the Donkey in today’s society and their use for recreational and therapeutic use.

Environmental Issues To promote and encourage recycling,  conservation and restoration of antique and vintage items as a means to better preserve and guard the environment. We are supporters of the International Antiques are Green movement that works to create and share awareness of our limited resources. http//www.antiquesaregreen.org/

Our project is a long term one with a view to continuity. Our group grows as others join us at each new event. The group is self-financed by contributions from the members that participate in each of the events .
